Program Description:

AUSAustralia - Animal Behavior

 ANSC 4390/ ANSC 5390 - Animal Science & Vet Tech
This course is a science course regarding the origins, causation, development and functional aspects of animal behavior. Techniques in observing and considering behavior will also be covered.

Upon successful completion of this course students will:
  • Have an understanding of the basic physiological mechanisms that drive behavior.
  • Be able to recognize and categorize different types of behaviors of animals.
Students will discuss techniques in measuring behavior and setting up behavioral experiments.
