Students will stay at one of the Residence Halls of the Universidad de Burgos.

Classes will meet daily, Monday through Friday in two sessions for four weeks. The first session will be of language instruction, the second session of culture in context. The instruction will be provided by scholars experienced in Spanish language, literature, and pedagogy. Each student's progress will be assessed throughout the course of instruction to ensure that satisfactory attainment of learning objectives is being met. Students will participate in daily local excursions and three full day excursions.

Students will receive instruction in Spanish language according to their level. Students will significantly improve their oral skills in Spanish in both listening, comprehension, and oral production, as well as develop an appreciation for Spanish as well as European culture, through living and studying that culture. Native or heritage speakers will be able to attain a level of written language more in accordance to their spoken proficiency, as well as level of formal Spanish more in accordance to their level of formal English.
