Czech Republic - Social Sciences

POLS 4306 - European Politics:
This course will provide you with a survey of the major topics, countries, issues, and challenges in contemporary European Politics with a more specific focus on the Czech Republic. Readings, lectures and discussion in addition to the four-week program in Prague will give attention to political transformation in the Czech Republic through the twentieth century to the present. The course will help you gain a knowledge of developments and political transition, an understanding of the significance of these changes in the broader European context, and the ability to analyze current movements and issues within the Czech Republic, Europe and globally.
